Ethylen-Propylen-Diene rubber (EPDM)

Ethylen-Propylen-Diene rubber (EPDM)

Ethylen-Propylen-Diene rubber (EPDM) is quantitatively the commonly used in the automotive industry. This is also thanks to the very good resistance to weathering, ozone, aging, chemicals, hot water, steam and polar solvents (eg. Acetone, methanol).
In addition our EPDM round cord has FDA approval and corresponds to the KTW Category C.

Chloroprene rubber (CR)

Chloroprene rubber (CR)

Chloroprene rubber (CR) is available with a hardness of 60 Shore.
This material is characterized by good resistance to heat, aging, weathering and ozone.
In addition, CR has good mechanical properties and elasticity.
Furthermore it should be noted that CR may have a tendency to crystallize at very low temperatures and has poor fuel resistance.

Natural rubber (NR)

Natural rubber (NR)

Natural rubber (NR) is supplied from stock in the colour beige with a hardness of 45 Shore and the colour red with a hardness of 50 Shore.
NR has a very high tensile strength, elasticity, low temperature flexibility and excellent dynamic properties.
NR has moderate resistance to oil, heat, ozone and weathering.

Nitrile rubber (NBR)

Nitrile rubber (NBR)

Nitrile rubber (NBR) is available from stock in hardness 50 Shore and 70 Shore.
NBR has a very good resistance to oil, fuel and grease.
In addition NBR is characterized by a low compression set.
It should be noted, however, the ozone resistance is very bad.

Custom-made

Almost everything can be produced.

Whether silicone in yellow, huge gaskets, special profiles or new developments.
We would be pleased to advise you on feasibility.
